Modern vehicles are opened with wedges and long-reach tools, not the methods that worked twenty years ago — there is wiring, airbag hardware and side-impact structure inside a door panel now. We come to wherever the vehicle is. If a child or pet is shut inside, call 911 first, then call us.
Modern vehicles open with modern methods
The coat-hanger era ended when door panels filled with wiring looms, side-impact bars and airbag hardware. Today's openings are done with inflatable wedges and long-reach tools, working the door's own controls without disturbing what lives inside the panel — or with decoding and cutting when the lock itself is the better path. Technique is chosen per vehicle, which is why door seals, glass, trim and paint come through the visit the way they went in.
Wherever the vehicle is stranded
The roadside shoulder, a mall parking structure, your own driveway with the engine running and the fob on the seat — the service comes to the vehicle, so there is no tow in the story. One exception outranks us: if a child or pet is shut inside a hot or cold car, call 911 first, then call us while help is on the way. Glass can be replaced; minutes cannot.
